This is a brief description of the Swedish case study about using nature-based solutions for greywater treatment in summer cottages of Norrtälje in the Stockholm Archipelago. This is the second-largest archipelago in the Baltic Sea and a popular summer destination. Here, Norrtälje Municipality has the largest number of summer cottages (13900). This case study concerned NBS for greywater treatment in the summer houses here. The case study aimed to gain an understanding of the major opportunities, barriers and benefits related to NBS as a means for greywater treatment at decentralized scale.
