A brief description of the Swedish case study conducted in Årstafältet which is a large, open grass field located in a suburb in southern Stockholm, Here a nature-based solution project is being planned and implemented, which includes a water impoundment (area where water is artificially gathered, such as ponds) and streams, open ditches, rainfall management parks, trees planted along roads, an additional water pond, allotment gardens, swales (shallow channels), and deciduous forests.
