In the present study, the authors conducted an assessment of the level of youth perception on urban lakes in three cities (Cluj-Napoca, Sibiu and Tulcea) in Romania. In order to highlight the extent to which young people appreciate the value and benefits that the conservation of urban lakes can bring to local communities, this paper aims at a comparative analysis of their significance and importance for this category of the population.
