The present study was aimed to better characterize the influence of PPCPs present within the WWTP discharge and runoff from farming and recreational practices to an environmentally and economically important fish species in Norway, Atlantic cod. To reach this objective, an active biomonitoring was carried out by caging fish throughout the Stavanger fjord to WWTP outflow.
